What is a MakeOutfit membership?

A membership is a paid plan for your digital wardrobe. You upload photos of clothes you own, we cut each one out of its background, and you build outfits with them, plan what to wear and try the outfits on with AI. Member holds 200 garments and Member Plus holds 500. Both give you points for try-ons every month.

How much does a membership cost?

Member is $12.99 / month and Member Plus is $23.99 / month. With yearly billing a month costs up to 23% less. The exact price is shown at checkout before you pay.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Your first membership starts with a 7-day free trial that includes 22 points. Your card is asked for at checkout and nothing is charged for 7 days. The first payment is taken when the trial ends. Your monthly points, 100 with Member or 200 with Member Plus, arrive with it, and trial points you did not use are removed. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing and can use your trial points until the trial ends. You can also pay now and skip the trial. Your monthly points then arrive at once. The trial is for members who have not had a membership before.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Every account is free and holds 10 of your own garments and 3 collections. You can make as many outfits as you like, with pieces from the catalog and with your own garments. A new account starts with 3 free points. From the second day you get 1 free point each day. Free points are for that day only and do not add up. You can try on your drafts with points on any plan.

Can I try on outfits made with my own clothes?

Yes. Add your own garments to the outfit creator, alone or mixed with pieces from the catalog, save the outfit as a draft and open it in the virtual try-on. A try-on is paid with points on every plan.

What are points?

Points pay for try-ons and try-on videos. A membership gives you monthly points for each month it is paid. Monthly points are used first and are for that month only: what you do not use is not carried over, and is removed when the next month starts or when the membership ends. Points you buy are separate and stay in your balance.

How many try-on videos can I make with my monthly points?

A try-on video of 8 seconds costs 40 points. The 200 monthly points of Member Plus cover about 5 videos a month, the 100 points of Member about 2. Try-ons and videos are paid from the same points, so you choose how to use them.

Do my try-ons have a watermark?

Not on Member or Member Plus: while your membership is active, your try-ons never carry the visible MakeOutfit watermark, whichever points pay for them. On the free plan, a try-on paid with free points carries the watermark. A try-on paid with points you bought does not.

What are outfit ideas?

With Member Plus you can ask for outfit ideas at any time and get three complete outfits of 5 to 8 pieces. Each one starts from your own garments, is completed with pieces from our catalog, and uses the colors of your skin tone palette. Nothing is saved until you save an idea. A saved idea is a draft or an outfit like any other: you can edit it, put it in a collection and plan it.

What happens if my membership ends?

Nothing is deleted, and all your drafts stay available. Your newest garments and collections stay available, up to the free limits. Older ones are locked until you subscribe again.

Who can see my clothes?

Your wardrobe is private. An outfit made with your own clothes is a draft. Drafts and their try-ons are never shown on the home page, in the feed or in search. You see them under My drafts, and people who can see one of your collections see the drafts you put in it.

How do I change my plan or cancel?

Open Manage billing on this page at any time. There you can switch between the plans, change between monthly and yearly billing, or cancel. After you cancel you keep the membership until the end of the period you paid for.
